Ginger Infused Water
Ginger has been a staple in traditional medicine for centuries, and today, it remains a popular ingredient in many wellness practices.
- 1-2 inches of fresh ginger root sliced thinly
- 4 cups of water
- Optional: lemon slices honey, or mint for added flavor
Prepare the Ginger: Wash the ginger root thoroughly and slice it into thin pieces.
Boil the Water: Bring the water to a boil in a saucepan.
Add Ginger: Add the ginger slices to the boiling water.
Simmer: Reduce the heat and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
Cool and Strain: Remove from heat, allow it to cool, and strain out the ginger slices.
Serve and Enjoy: Drink it warm, or refrigerate it for a cool, refreshing beverage.
